English Labrador Breeder
This page features three of our recent litters. There are litter notes of the pups as they've grown, and photo galleries of the pups in their new homes.
Riley and Elmer's puppies have all been adopted into their new forever homes!
Sweet little Juneau (aqua collar girl) is pictured here with her new parents on puppy adoption day, May 1st!
Juneau is now living in beautiful northern Michigan.

Riley began whelping her pups early Wednesday morning, on March 3, 2021. We were able to be right by her side throughout the entire labor, although she handled it like a pro and didn't need much help. The puppies were born strong and healthy, and began thriving right from the start!

Riley's litter of puppies just keeps growing and getting cuter by the day! Their skin pigment is working on turning darker, as their little pink noses and paws are becoming dark gray/black. They make little howling noises, and don't appreciate being away from mama for more than a short while.
In most of the photos, the 3 boys are in the green, red, and dark blue collars.
The 6 girls are wearing purple, pink, light gray, black, light blue, and yellow.

Riley's pups are now walking all over, tumbling over each other and wagging their tiny tails. They have been outdoors several times on the warmer days, laying and exploring in the grass. They have also been a golf car ride around our property and loved it! Before long they will start the beginning of the weaning process.

Wow! The difference from last week to this week is amazing. The puppies have sharp little teeth, and are acting like grown up puppies. It's kind of bittersweet, but they are so much fun at this age its mostly sweet :) They are eating puppy mush like champs, and get outdoors for playtime, golf cart rides and adventure seeking every day it's not raining. On rainy days they play indoors our office and find all kinds of trouble to get into....

Riley's litter of pups headed to our veterinarian on Monday, April 19th for their 6 week checkup and first vaccinations. The pups were terrific the entire ride there and back, with no accidents and without hardly a peep! They all checked out perfectly healthy and happy. They are very full of energy and life at this age, and are quick to give puppy kisses, and affectionally receive as much attention as we give them. They are not afraid of loud, sudden noises or new any environments.
GiGi and Elmer's litter headed to their new homes on May 8th!

Gigi x Elmer's litter of puppies is doing well! They now have their eyes opened, and are sitting up, walking around and making plenty of puppy noises. They have been having play dates with us in our kennel office/living area. As soon as it is a bit warmer they will have their first adventures in the great Michigan outdoors!

Gigi's litter of pups is now walking and running and climbing all over, wagging their tails, and just starting to drink freshly fermented kefir milk mixed with NuVet Vitamin Powder to start the early weaning process. They are beautiful pups with healthy, glossy coats. They snuggle and play with us on a daily basis, and are being gently acclimated to loud noises such as clapping, singing, the tractor, power washer, vaccuum, and more!
Collar colors are as follows:
Black females: Red, Purple, Yellow, Green
Black Male: Brown
Yellow Males: Blue, Black

The pups are doing terrific. They are loving, friendly, and playful little fur balls! They enjoy snuggling, playing with toys, romping outdoors, and piling up for naptime. The yellow boys were helping us weed the overgrown strawberry patch in the recent photos. They were a lot of help until they got sleepy.... ;) The pups got a thorough grooming recently, (one of many) and are getting used to loud noises and all kinds of new experiences to help them acclimate for real life!
These pups will head to our vet on Monday, April 26th for health exams and first vaccinations.

GiGi's puppies had a successful trip to our vet on April 26th! They rode in the truck very well, with hardly any whining, and no accidents! They are getting familiarized with being in a crate for short periods, and love playing outdoors in the grass. At their health check-up they all were healthy and free of issues!

Rumor and Elmer produce the most incredible pups! Their puppies have terrific temperaments and fabulous breed conformation. This litter of puppies headed to their new homes May 22nd.

Rumor welcomed a beautiful litter last week. Their schedule consists of eating, pooping, sleeping, repeat :)
Rumor is a devoted and doting mother who never wants to be away from her litter more than 5 minutes! Sometimes we have to gently pull her away from them to make her rest and take a break.
New photos of these babies will be posted later today!

Rumor's puppies are so adorable and chunky. Their eyes are just opening now, so they are exploring a whole new world around them!
Collar colors are as follows:
Black Male - Blue
Black Females - Red, Purple, Light Blue
Yellow Male - Yellow

Can you believe what a difference 2 weeks makes?! These pups are still as roly-poly as ever, but now they wrestle, growl, have sharp little teeth, and waddle all over the place! They have just started the weaning process, and as you can see in the newest photos, they apparently love it and are growing well!

Rumor's puppies are so chunky and adorable! They are pretty laid back pups, but they like to play fight and are starting to explore a lot more! They will be heading to our veterinarian on Thursday May 6th for their health checkup and first vaccinations.

Rumor and Elmer's pups had a great visit to our vet on May 6th. They have grown like weeds and just weighed in over 14 lbs.! They will be heading to their new homes this weekend, May 22nd.
